Check out, then pick up

Checkout happens on Clover. The order action published for the business is pickup from the truck, mainly in Oakland and Berkeley. The day’s stop is on the home page schedule and on Instagram @_taysteoftay.

Delivery, stated only as far as we know it.

A delivery radius for truck orders is not published. Order for pickup, not for delivery to a neighborhood, Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, or across the Bay Area.

Pickup is how truck orders work. If Clover shows a delivery option at checkout, that screen is the live register. Catering delivery for an event is a different request. It starts with a catering quote and covers the Greater Bay Area and Central Valley.

What regulars single out.

The mac and cheese in the reviews is the pepper jack mac that rides as a side on the catfish, wing, and chicken-strip dinners. It is not its own entrée on the standing list. Peach cobbler bites and the Heath bar cheesecake are all over the photos and the review wall. They are not on the standing Clover list, so they are not linked as items you can add tonight. If they are on the truck, they will show up on the live Clover menu.

Hours for that menu: Monday through Thursday, 10AM to 5PM. Friday and Saturday, 7PM to 2AM. Sunday varies. Calling is 510-472-3854.

How do I order soul food online?

On-demand orders go through Clover. Use Order on Clover at the top of this page, or open https://taysteoftay.cloveronline.com/menu/all. Pick items and check out on Clover. The home page menu also links each listed dish to its Clover item when a direct link exists.

Do you deliver, and how far?

A delivery radius is not published. Truck orders are for pickup, not delivery to a neighborhood, a city, or across the Bay Area.

Can I pick up an online order?

Pickup is the order method named on the site. Order on Clover, then pick up from the truck. The truck is mainly in Oakland and Berkeley, and the day's stop is on the home page schedule and on Instagram at @_taysteoftay.

What are the online ordering hours?

The published hours are Monday through Thursday, 10AM to 5PM, and Friday and Saturday, 7PM to 2AM. Sunday varies. Order during those hours.

Where are the prices?

Prices for on-demand orders are shown on the Clover menu at checkout, and they also appear next to items on the home page menu. Catering prices are a separate quote and are not the Clover item prices.

Is an online order the same as catering?

No. An online Clover order is on-demand food from the truck. Catering for an office, wedding, or private event across the Greater Bay Area and Central Valley starts with a quote on the catering page.
